Volkswagenim is the central digital companion for Volkswagen Passenger Car owners in Turkey. The app brings together maintenance planning, repair follow-up, service communication and useful vehicle documents in a single mobile experience.

Our role was to define the product strategy and design the entire user interface and experience with a focus on clarity, ease of use and trust.

Goals

From Service Desk Complexity to a Simple Mobile Companion

Vehicle maintenance and after-sales processes can be time-consuming and unclear. The app needed to offer a cleaner, faster and more transparent way for users to manage their service needs.

We focused on designing an experience that:

  • Allows users to create service appointments quickly
  • Keeps drivers informed about every stage of maintenance and repair
  • Provides instant notifications and clear status updates
  • Enables users to approve additional repair operations with video or photo support
  • Stores invoices, documents and maintenance history in a single location
  • Connects users to support, service locations and roadside assistance with ease

Designing a Mobile Experience That Puts Drivers in Control

Frank led the strategy and design process, creating a structure that makes every after-sales task intuitive.

User Journey Strategy
We mapped the complete after-sales lifecycle from booking to repair completion and shaped each step to reduce friction.

UX Design
Flows for appointments, maintenance tracking, approval steps, document viewing and support access were redesigned for clarity and minimal effort.

UI Design
A clean and functional interface was created to match Volkswagen’s visual identity. Screens were optimized for readability and quick interaction on mobile.
